Mudyala Aboriginal Corporation are passionate about keeping our culture alive and encouraging our children and youth to take pride in their culture. On the 19th November 2022, Mudyala hosted a cultural identity photoshoot day at Lake Arragan, in Yuraygir National Park. This day seen over 50 families from Yaegl, Bundjalung, Gumbaynggirr, Dhunggutti, and Gamilaroi areas participated in family photoshoots.
All jewellery, fabrics, headpieces and items worn were made by locals Aboriginal people. The ochre used in the photos was local. This event was proudly funded by NSW Aboriginal Affairs.
