“‘Entering a New Age’, is a contemporary acrylic artwork that portrays the journey of womanhood. As a girl grows, we can watch her grow into her innocence, purity and further, womanhood. An era that not all women choose to pursue, or unfortunately can not pursue is the role of motherhood. This artwork is about my journey into motherhood. A depiction of me stepping into my role of a mum. Mother of a little gin who will grow alongside me.”
