Mudyala Aboriginal Corporation and Yaegl Elders Aboriginal Corporation partnered with Clarence Valley Council for a language program. The Yaegl Elders were to decide on a language project they would like to deliver within a 6 month time frame. The discussion that followed was full of ideas.
The Yaegl Elders then settled on creating a standard Acknowledgement of Country, inclusive of Yaygirr language, that can be freely provided to the public and placed on display at willing organisations and educational facilities.
We are proud to say the Acknowledgement to Country poster is now complete and available at the Clarence Valley Council Office in Maclean to anyone who wishes to display it.
