Mudyala Aboriginal Corporation celebrated 2021 International Women’s Day (IWD) by inviting strong women from across the region to a special IWD luncheon.
On March 8, we joined together to celebrate this international day dedicated to recognising the impact of women in our world communities.
The group of 18 special women who joined us for a celebratory lunch included representatives from Mudyala Aboriginal Corporation, Yaegl Elders Aboriginal Corporation, Yaegl LALC (Local Area Land Council), and Nungera Cooperative and Youth Group, as well as members of the Department of Communities and Justice and local Indigenous Artists, like Francis Belle Parker.
This luncheon was an opportunity to celebrate these women from a range of organisations who work together in harmony tirelessly for the betterment of our community.
